What’s Happening in Nigeria

We extend our unwavering solidarity with the brave people of Nigeria who are protesting a corrupt governance and policing institution. We stand in awe of our LGBQT family fighting valiantly against an oppressive regime and risking their lives. Globally, the police have historically perpetrated violent and abhorrent acts onto citizens. From the streets of Minneapolis, the favelas of Rocinha, the Gaza strip and to Nigeria. As George Jackson said, you cannot reform fascism and "a Black (person) that supports a military dictatorship is as much a fascist as Hoover", you cannot reform SARS. We call for an end to all policing institutions. Strong communities make policing obsolete, today, tomorrow and forever.
